Bermuda Hundred UMC will be celebrating its 70th anniversary with a special day on Sunday, May 17, 2026--and everyone is invited!
What began in 1956 as a vision has become a glorious reality, as we celebrate the first seven decades of God's faithful love and leading us to love our neighbors in Enon. From our beginnings in the old log cabin church on Point of Rocks Road, to our current campus on Route 10, BHUMC has a story of faithfulness and discipleship that we celebrate. And God's not done with us--so we celebrate this day, and we look ahead to our NEXT seven decades!
Our 70th Anniversary Gala
Join us for a very special day celebrating God on SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2026! We will have a truly memorable worship service at 11:00am, followed by a "family photo" of everyone on the steps out front, and then our 70th Anniversary Gala potluck, either outside if it's good weather or in the Fellowship Hall if it's inclement. EVERYONE IS INVITED to celebrate the day--to come on home to BHUMC and to praise God for God's faithfulness!
Our special guest preacher for our 70th Anniversary will be Living Waters District Superintendent Jay Carey. Our first-ever worship service was led by the then-DS, Dr. Carl J. Sanders, and so 70 years later it is our privilege to welcome our DS to mark the day!
