Bermuda Hundred UMC celebrated its 70th anniversary with a special day on Sunday, May 17, 2026!
What began in 1956 as a vision has become a glorious reality, as we celebrated the first seven decades of God's faithful love and leading us to love our neighbors in Enon. From our beginnings in the old log cabin church on Point of Rocks Road, to our current campus on Route 10, BHUMC has a story of faithfulness and discipleship that we remembered. And God's not done with us--so we celebrated this day, and we look ahead to our NEXT seven decades!
Our special worship for the day featured our Living Waters District Superintendent, the Rev. Jay Carey, and the return of former BHUMC pastor the Rev. Michael Dettmer, for the day. Plus music from our past, and a special ceremony commissioning our future. Click on the video to watch it!
